Markdown Locker is a local-first markdown editor for Mac that works with plain .md files stored on your machine. It supports capturing notes, smart paste, web clipping, dictation, search, tags, and versioned saves. It includes a workspace for asking questions across your notes with citations, plus MCP-based attachment so compatible agents can read the same local folder without uploading the archive.
